Decent chance . GPA is a tad too low…

Your chances are okay. As JJoy15 said, you GPA is a bit low though…If 60% of people from students are accepted into UMich from your school, do you know if you’re in the top 60% of your class? That should give you a pretty good indication of what your chances will be. Also, make sure to have a stellar application. Good luck!

Your GPA is very low compared to the admission average of 3.83 (even higher for CoE), however, that may be due to the grading system at your school or your course load. As other said, if your GPA is higher than average while 60% of the students from your school got accepted by UMich, you may still have a good chance. ACT 33 is right at the 75% of admission for UMich while it may be around 65% for CoE. I think you are probably a high match for UMich engineering if your GPA is around average at your school.

Based entirely off of your ACT Math, you’re pretty much in. The GPA is somewhat of a worry but besides that you seem good. Do some volunteering.

Just want to mention that UMich values GPA very much, perhaps even more than test scores.
