u mich-ann arbor, emory, georgia tech, wash u in st. louis

I am planning to study biomedical engineering, and I want to know how does the wash u school compare with the other schools i have listed.
Could you please list from best to worst? I am looking for an enjoyable, not cutthroat, college experience.
Thanks much-ly!

WUSTL > UMich > Emory. Not sure about Georgia Tech.

Emory doesn't have any engineering programs; the closest thing they have is computer science. they don't even have a seperate undergraduate school for engineering. fine school for just about everything else.

UMich and GT have very strong engineering schools, ranked right around #5 (with MIT being first, Stanford second, Berkeley third, and U of I and Caltech tied for fourth). i would assume their biomedical engineering programs are pretty good, although i don't know the specific strengths of each.

WashU's College of Engineering and Applied Science is not particularly strong overall, although its biomedical engineering program does stand out, ranking within the top 15, despite having been in existence for less than 20 years.

in terms of a non-cutthroat college experience, WashU is best.

you can't go wrong with WashU's biomedical engineering program.

from best to worst for your major, and in terms of the college experience:

WashU, UMich, GT, Emory.

thanks! :)
