Ok so I’m still a “noob” when it comes to Michigan…but I’m really starting to like it
I have some more questions

Okay so the gpa is recalculated and the frosh scores are thrown out… ??

No credit is given to ap or honors – is that fair because the difference between lets say ap english and reg. english is HUGE at my school

Also
3. Hows financial aid?

Right

You can get credits if you get the required score on the AP exam. Check the UMich site for that. If you're saying that AP doesn't count for more weight than an honors class when considering GPA, then you're right. That kinda stinks. They claim to consider more challenging courseloads, but I doubt it. Just get a high GPA. Easier said than done, of course.

Not great...I think. Get another opinion on that.

thats ignorant...
I could sleep through a regular chemistry class and get an A..... but I have to work my ass off to get a bt or a - in my AP class......
Thats rediculous

But they know the difference. Taking even just one or two more AP classes makes your sched. much more competitive and the adcoms will see it as such.

In all my experiences with fin. aid, only the top applicants get a lot of money.

what about 3 aps one year, and 3 aps and a college class at the same time he next year?
