U Michigan or UCLA

I am an international student who has been accepted by both UCLA and Umich (no scholarships). I live in Vancouver. UCLA’s Biochemistry major accepted me while Michigan is undeclared in terms of what major (I only put Biochemistry as an interest on common app). I recently heard that it is not very easy find a job with the Biochemistry major. Therefore, I have decided to change this Biochemistry major no matter which university I end up going to. In my situation, is UCLA the better choice or is Umich the better choice? If I choose UCLA, is it hard to switch to a different major, such as math or statistics? I appreciate any advices.

Switching a major at UCLA within the college of letter and science is very easy (only requires filing a form). On average UCLA students switch more than two times. Switching between colleges (likes switching to engineering) is very hard. Therefore, switching from biochem to math or stat is very easy.

Thank you for they reply. Can I fill out that form immediately when I enter UCLA? Or do I need to accept the biochem offer right now and ensure my GPA reaches a certain level to fill out that form in my second year?

@dad2021 thank you for the reply! Can I fill out that form immediately when I enter UCLA ?

I believe so.
