U Michigan vs. Case Western Reserve U

i got into both, and they both have very different atmospheres. Basically its huge vs. small

I am planning on concentrating in Pre-med, by the way.
Costs are relatively similar, but i might be able to get some money for CWRU.

Any input?

Both good schools. I got into CWRU and haven't decided if I'm going yet. I've heard that pre-med at Case is especially difficult. They place very well though.

It's a great school that everybody in the world knows and respects vs. a very good school which even half the people in Ohio think is a '60's rock band rather than a college.

By the way, Case doesn't curve premed classes

Case Western

If you care about your future, michigan.

^ ouch... I'd say your premed opportunities are just as good if not better at Case.

I got into both with a presiden't scholarship at case and a little bit of money to UMich in the honors program. I chose Michigan cus I love the atmosphere and it's a good school, and I figured that getting into med school is a lot based on me, so the 61% med school placement rate didn't discourage me. Michigan 2010!

You probably will get $ from Case, I think either way it doesnt matter. Go the the one you like. I would expect Case to be less expensive. Are you in-state at michigan?

nope, i live in Maryland. That's why i expect them to be relatively close to each other in price. It looks like i'm getting mixed input here lol...so i guess it all comes down to the atmosphere.

Jake, it should always come down to "atmosphere". I really recommend you vist both campuses and check them out thoroughly.
