U of A Medical School?

I’ve heard that if you graduated from an AZ high school and then go to an out-of-state university, then U of A Medicine will not accept you. Is this true?

Also, going off on a tangent, why do people focus on those “top medical schools” so much…I know that U of A Medicine isn’t considered the “best medical school” but do you really have less opportunities than attending an Ivy medical school?

What you heard about leaving Arizona is absurd. I highly doubt this is true.

Honestly, the prestige is what people value about the Ivy League. You can still get an excellent education at schools outside of the Ivy League. And, if you are a resident of the state, you can pay less tuition to a state school. If you are taking out student loans, this is highly worth it.
