<p>I'll be graduating out of CC this spring with about a 3.8. Phi Theta Kappa member, graduating through the honors scholar program here, work part-time, volunteer at an animal refuge, and have set up my own animal rescue. I'll be majoring in anthropology. GPA and EC's aren't stellar nor do they really stand out. Do you think I can still get in though. I'm also a state resident graduating through a Florida CC. Thanks so much.</p>

<p>If it helps any, I know someone who graduated about 10 years ago from a local community tech college and then attended the University of Texas-Austin, where he ended up earning a PhD. I'm not sure what his stats were, but I'm guessing pretty good, but maybe not amazing in community college. I'd say you have a good chance, especially since you're in-state.</p>
