<p>If I was to apply to University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign under the General Studies Major, what are the chances I can later be accepted into the Business school? I don't think they will accept me into Business initially, so what are my odds at entering undeclared then getting in Business? -thanks</p>
<p>Not a bad idea. I think it takes about a 3.5 for UIUC--but if you can get in, then transfers between majors are usually fairly easy.</p>
<p>Right now UIUC is accepting 70% of those applying to the school and a 27 ACT is right at their average, so apply early and show interest and you should have a really good chance--especially if you are in-state.</p>
<p>No chance for Business. Average ACT for COB was around 28-32 last year (campus average ACT ranged from 27-32, which puts you at the bottom end), and class rank ranging from top 10~2%. Also, transferring into CoB is very difficult. I'd say you look into other schools.</p>
