does anyone have any info on UofL. How is the sports management? good social school? good fan support for Patino?

Petino is revered by everyone (except UK and Boston Celtic fans). The overall athletic program is on the rise as the AD has done a terrific job bringing in coaches, building first-class facilities, and drawing fans. The city is currently looking at building a new basketball arena.

The school has an urban mission - the primary focus of the school is to support the city of Louisville. That means that if you don't already live in Louisville, it's surprising that you'd consider it. Many college guides don't even bother including U of L.

It shouldn't surprise you that only 21% of the students live on-campus. It's cheaper to live at home. There is a greek system, but otherwise, the social life revolves around old high school friendships.

Having said all that, I've enjoyed the post-grad courses that I've taken there.

well im from out of state. i saw that the tuiton was fairly low and just wanted to find info on it. thx
