University of Michigan: Low reach

rohann although I may just be a freshman, you have a decent if not good chance. University of Michigan Ann Arbor is definitely within your reach and all you have to do is try to get better ACT scores and make you UW GPA around a 3.75-3.8. Try to take the most rigorous schedule possible and definitely try to take Multivariable Calc/Differential Equations. You should also try to bring your SAT Math II to around a 780-800 and take other SAT II’s to seal the deal. :)

Low reach, I suppose. I think you can get in, but I’m not sure. You should take SAT II literature and us history if you can. If you are Chinese, Korean, or Japanese who can speak the mother-tongue, then try take SAT II of it. And if you are choosing LSA, you should show a passion for it: Write an amazing essay that you want to get in to U of M. Good luck.

Below average GPA and average ACT. UMich would be a high match to low reach for you.

UMI: High match/low reach
That GPA is a little low. You could make up for it by doing some more ECs, volunteering, or maybe an internship.

Considering in-state and applying to LSA, I think you will be more a high match than low reach.
