I have a couple of questions involving a transfer I plan to make from MSU to U of M engineering. I asked some people at U of M but they didn't give me any clear answers so I was hoping some people on this board could help me out.

First, in order to transfer the website said the prerequisites were Calc1-Differential equations, 2 semesters of physics w/ lab, genchem w/ lab (fulfilled), programming (fulfilled) and engligh (fulfilled). My GPA is above all the minimums for U of M engineering transfers. Well, here is my situation. In the fall at MSU I will be taking differential equations and physics 1, so I won't have that second semester of physics fulfilled, and technically speaking diff eqs and physics 1 won't be fulfilled (since they technically aren't completed). Do I absolutely need to have all the prereqs fulfilled in order to be considered for admission or does it just help? Second question. If I can't transfer for winter semester, I would like to go to U of M fall 2011. In that case, I will have all my prereqs fulfilled except for Physics 2 (e&m), which I will be taking during spring 2011 at MSU (spring semester at MSU is winter at U of M). However, the deadline for applying is March 1st. Does that mean I can't apply since physics 2 will not be completed, or can I since it will be by the time I go to U of M?

Third, does anybody know at all if CHE201 from MSU (Material and energy balances) transfers to U of M? If so, what other ChemE classes transfer that you guys know of? I mean, if it does transfer I will obviously take it at MSU so I don't fall super behind, but if it doesn't transfer, I would like to be admitted as soon as possible at U of M so I can start taking ChemE classes.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.
