U of M or MSU honors for finance/math?

I am trying to decide between UM and MSU honors college... I am very worried about the workload being overly hard at UM, especially in the math classes (Calc 2,3, linear algebra...). Does anybody know about the rigor of the math classes there? I am currently a top performer in my AB calculus class. I feel like MSU would be a "safer" choice, but UM has an excellent reputation. Could anybody give me some insight about the workload at UM, or even other info about MSU? Thanks!

I’d say Michigan since you want finance. Work load probably would be similar at MSU, but you will have more opportunities for finance at UM.

You’d be fine at Michigan. When I compare what you go into a class knowing and what you are expected to be able to do in the class, I feel that my HS calc class was probably harder than all but a couple of classes I’ve taken here at Michigan. Given, I’ve only taken 3 math classes.

I would go to Michigan. It may be more challenging, but ultimately, it will be more rewarding.
