What would you guess the average GPA during this freshman year for admittance to Ross in the Fall as a sophomore?

Are there certain "hooks" that make acceptance more likely and/or help negate having a GPA less than 4.0?

What is the chance of getting into Ross at the end of your sophomore if you don't get in at the end of your freshman year?

One does not need a 4.0 to have a good chance of getting into Ross. A 3.6+ GPA is generally sufficient. Good ECs and a good essay always help.

Preadmit and regular admit are not correlated. The odds of getting into Ross if the student has a good GPA (over 3.5) and strong ECs are reasonable.

FAFSA parent, I am not sure what the answer for question 3 would be. I don’t think anybody would have an answer to that question…not one grounded in statistically significant fact. You may hear of a few anecdotal cases, but I don’t think it would be wise to draw any conclusion from them.

I would think that essays may play more of a roll in Ross admissions. Because the curriculum is more group study and interactive based, an application would be enhanced if the applicant can show that he or she will bring experience or something else to the program that we will be for the benefit of the program as a whole.
