Applied three weeks ago, wondering what you guys think my chances are:

Transferring to LSA -- preference to PITE
Credits taken: 54
Current Uni: on academic scholarship @ small michigan liberal arts college
College GPA: 3.5+ after this semester
ACT: 28
SAT: never took it
HS GPA: 3.33
ECS: listed on app 8+ quality extracurriculars with strong leadership positions from HS and college
Essays: Both were very good and transfer common was good too

any guesstimates? I have a background in environmental studies with plenty of humanities and mixed department credits in social and sciences

DetroitGirl, I think you have a decent shot at getting in. You have a great ACT score, over 50 credits, good ECS and essays. After 50 credits, they look less at your high school GPA and more at what you’ve done in college and how much you have improved. I was accepted LSA a month ago and we have similar stats. If you have anymore questions, feel free to message me.

And I had two letters of recommendation faxed in yesterday from alumni from the law school and ross which should help too right? I know theyre not neccecary but someone told me the more material they have to look at in your file the better?

the person on the telephone I talked to said the deadline could be sometime this coming week, they opened it up for a bit but I think its closing again fairly soon

Bump because I wanted to follow up and see if you guys on this thread had heard good news I hope all of us CC transfers end up getting in - I was so glad to get my acceptance, and I hate to think of any of you guys out there still waiting!
