<p>I am applying early to U of Maryland. They say they need my school to send my transcripts. However, my school told me they can't do this and gave me an official letter with my transcripts and I mailed them on my own. Will this be a problem I'm so confused. Please help!</p>
<p>My school does this too. I also applied to UMD as an in-state resident. At my school, you request transcripts that someone from the guidance department puts in a sealed envelope. Students are then responsible for stamping and mailing the transcripts on their own. I sent my transcripts on October 20 and they said my transcripts have been received and processed so it shouldn’t be a problem if you sent yours on your own. As long as your transcripts are postmarked by November 1, your application will be considered complete by the priority deadline. I hope this helps.</p>
