U of MI chance? (Will chance back, if needed)

If you could please help… I am wondering what the chances of me getting into University of Michigan-Ann Arbor

Academic:
I have a 3.8 GPA with an upward trend since freshman year
31 ACT
PLEASE NOTE: the drop in GPA was from a traumatic family incident during freshman year.
NOTE: I have not taken SAT yet as I am only a junior.
NOTE: planning on retaking ACT, say I get 33.

You left out two very important pieces of information: Home state and intended major.
Also, since you are only a junior, you only have grades from freshmen and sophomore. Can you list out the GPA from each grade separately?

OOS and open op at first.

You still did not respond to all questions. Anyway, without knowing your intended major, I assume you apply to LSA. As OOS with GPA 3.8 (which is below admission average) and ACT 31 (which is just above the 25th percentile of 30), UMich would be a low reach. If you do get 33+, then it will become a very high match. If you are applying to CoE or Ross, they are reaches. You are just a junior and still have time to improve your GPA and test score.

I would say no chance as an OOS with your scores and ECs

Bump

PLS HELP ME…
