Any tips on whether it really is better to register early..etc. Also, any other details on what the schedule is like for those 3 days would be great to know as well. do orientation students REALLY attend frat parties during those 3 days? I know i'll find out but kind of curious!

thanks guys!

It’s always better to register for early orientations, because that’s when you sign up for classes and you want more options/more availability in your selections. I’m not so sure about the schedule but from my sister and my friends’ experiences, it’s SO much fun and you really do go out and go to parties, and you meet sooo many people

Your schedule is pretty set, you don’t have much time until like after ~11pm on the 1st two days. The third day is all your after you register.

I think you’re assigned a time to register once you’re at orientation. The key is to register for the earliest possible orientation dates. The actual orientation is pretty useless – I suppose you learn a little about the school but from what I recall it wasn’t anything too interesting. And yes, frats should be partying a good amount of the time at night – check 'em out, you won’t get busted. Just don’t do anything egregiously stupid when you get back to your dorm at the end of the night.

thats so gay. I have to do fall orientation cause of travel. All the classes I want better be open.

So there isn’t a set time you need to get back to your dorm at nighttime?

^Don’t remember. If there was, people disregarded it.

I shouldn’t take the chance then right? Might as well enjoy the frat parties once fall term starts?
your thoughts? and thanks guys!

As I said above, you won’t get busted. I saw one of my orientation leaders at a party.
