U of Minnesota application completed 4 days after deadline. URGENT HELP PLEASE!!!!

I have applied to U of Minnesota about a month ago. But then my application was incomplete because of missing TOEFL score. I have taken the test on 29th November. I contacted TOEFL and they said that the university will receive my scores by Friday 19th December which is 4 days after the deadline.

I have heard that some universities accepts documents a week after the deadline. So i wanted to know if the U of Minnesota does the same thing and will accept my application?

I suggest that you call the admissions office. They will give you an accurate answer.

I agree that you should confirm with the admissions office what your status is. Also, even if they don’t consider your application complete until after December 15, you still have a chance. From the UMN-TC website:

“Applications that are postmarked or become complete after December 15 are considered on a space-available basis. After December 15, space is limited and admission is more competitive.”

Dont worry about it. They dont really give TOEFL a lot of consideration if your ACT score in English is above 18. I am an international student living in Minnesota and I didn’t even take TOEFL and I got in. All the best!
