<p>this is wierd... i got into case w/ about $15K scholarship, but waitlisted at UR, where I really want to go (they have BME w/ a medical optics concentration <-- a field that really fascinates me). plus, i like UR far more than case in almost every aspect; too bad I always get the opposite of what i want :/</p>

<p>GOT IN OFF THE WAITLIST!!! <em>sigh</em> it feels good... count me in for UR class of 2010... majoring in biomedical engineering and doing pre-med advising</p>
<p>i put a lot of thought into my decision. i turned down nyit's 7 year BS/DO (medicine) program with lots of money and CWRU (excellent BME program) with a decent amount, too. after visiting all of the campuses, weighing in all factors (including social life, student body, campus setting, the professors i met, my general impressions, research opportunities, etc. etc.... the list goes on), i decided on UR. i haven't yet received my financial aid package, but i definitely believe rochester is worth the money.</p>
<p>by the way, i'm an indian, too... reprezzeeenntt</p>

<p>i finally sent mine. about time. thank god the decision is made. im an official member of the UR class of 2010 (after about 2 months of being a member unofficially, but it's a nice feeling anyway)</p>

<p>if you're accepted and sent in your deposit, you could just call admissions and tell em ur name, and they'll tell u this number and u log in and do all this crap....lol</p>
