Has anyone else been invited to interview with U of R’s HEAL program?
I heard admissions decisions from URoch are rolling and should be out by March 2. I’m stilling waiting for my decision.
my D applied in October and only recently heard she was admitted but no merit aid information yet-we were told that will come by the end of next week for 2/8 admittees yet. Mid year grades went out late so that may contribute tot he delay.
I got a $35,000 per year scholarship! ACT 32, GPA 4.075, lots of extracurriculars in the arts (music, theatre, etc)
@mjmthesecond Congrats!
@mjmthesecond how long after your acceptance did you receive your merit notification?
@physicsfuture i got my acceptance the 8th and merit today!
did any international student get their decision? (except for EDs)
@SuperGymnast_04 Where did you hear about the March 2nd date? I sure hope you’re right!!
@listcollegehere we called adcoms at URochester. Some items were listed as missing in my portal, when I was sure we had submitted them. The adcoms confirmed that they had received the items, and said that decisions would be released at or before March 2nd.
I still haven’t heard and I’m getting very nervous. Other people from my school have received both acceptances and rejections and I am still waiting. I sent in my application in early December. I really hope to get in but now I’m worried I am going to be rejected
Hopefully I’ll hear soon!
@luckybooth - Congrats on the Award
@tz616 - what is your scores?
My S got admitted on 2/19.
We got the FAOnline email on 2/23 from FAOnlineAtUR@rochester.edu
An excerpt:
… I have carefully reviewed the financial aid application materials you have submitted to our office and have determined your eligibility for financial assistance… If your award is funded by a donor, you will be notified of the sponsor’s name and asked to provide information about yourself to the donor…"
When we login to the FAOnline site, there is one link “FA Disclosure” in which the “N/A” and only lists the EFC number.
Does this mean there is no merit at all?
for those who have said “no merit” yet, did you all get this email from FAOnlineAtUR@…?
I was also accepted 2/19 and I haven’t had any information about merit or FA.
Same here ^
@MomOutWest congratulations on your daughter’s acceptance! We are from Connecticut.
@soledad2022 Did not get that FAO@ email, but we also didn’t apply for need-based financial aid. Just hanging on waiting for any merit!
Just wondering, if I didn’t do the scholarship essays or apply by the priority deadline (didn’t have enough time!), could I still get some merit/scholarship aid??
