Hi Christopher Hitchens follower/antitheist. A Jesuit education isn’t going to make you go crazy. Jesuits are one of the most liberal branches of Catholicism. I believe you will have to take a theology class of sorts, but this is probably something even an antitheist should take.

Both AU and USF should have small class sizes. The biggest difference will be the cities.

AU’s location in Washington is good, but you can’t really get too many places without a car. The public transportation in our ghetto capital isn’t the best in the world. Therefore, it is not too entertaining. I like the campus though, it is quite large and comfortable. I spent a couple of weeks there at a program.

USF’s location is superb. San Francisco is one of the top cities in the world, especially if you are an international. You are within walking distance of top notch cuisine from all parts of the the world. The public transportation there is great. You will never run out of things to do, but you might run out of money fast. SF is a cool city to live in, minus the millions of homeless panhandlers.

However, I don’t much like the USF campus. I visited a few friends there and my impression of it was not a good one. The one word I can describe it with is “run down”.
