<p>San Francisco is charming, but it’s something of a backwater. Unless your field is IT, I’d go to Washington, NY, Chicago, LA, etc. if internships and other opportunities matter to you. It definitely has great food, enjoyable culture, is surrounded by natural beauty, though.</p>
