U of South Carolina, Florida St, Arizona State

Can any of you share your thoughts on these schools. Compare them on overall experience (academics, athletics, social, students, etc.)

thanks

bump......

If you're a party guy whose into football, I'd say you're going to have a blast at all of them. I don't know about the education, although I'm sure its not as bad as people here will make it out to be.

Right now...I'm loving FSU. So any information will be greatly appreciated.

id say FSU is the superior school of these three..but im not sure if i could turn down Steve Spurrier...

Academically, FSU and USC are comparable, with the edge going to FSU. Socially, FSU is comparable to ASU, with the edge going to FSU. Yes I know, I'm biased. If I were to be objective, I would say:

FSU- Best overall academics out of the 3, VERY socially active, diverse group of students, most fun and exciting footbal season(out of the 3).
ASU-Lowest academically ranked(out of the 3) but a very good business school, also a VERY active social life, diverse student body, Tempe is a very cool and crazy college town, close to Vegas(always a plus).
USC-Awesome International Business program and very solid in overall academics, more of a true southern student body, good social life but not as renowed as the other two, football season in the SEC is always exciting.

Go with FSU

yeah FSU is def the better of the three
what do you want to major in ?

I'm looking at a double major in advertising/public relations/marketing and sport management

I would give the edge to FSU academically, but I hesitate to make my opinion worth very much, because I have grown up in Florida, and I tend to think that lesser-prestigious state schools are seen as better within the state, since everyone knows lots of perfectly intelligent people who go there (as opposed to flagship state Us, which I think are generally more prestigious outside of the state, since it's harder to get in).
However, I know many smart people who go/have gone there, and I don't know a single person who's disliked it. I dislike large colleges (I'm going to an LAC next year), and I hate the 'Noles (see my location), but I definitely think FSU offers a great college experience.

Only go to ASU for business, engineering, journalism, or honors.

Florida State doesn't touch ASU in terms of parties.

ASU also has the highest peer assessment rating out of all 3 schools.

I think that financial aid is the tipping point, all 3 are similar schools. Go to the one where cost is the lowest.

Despite being a huge Gators fan, i'd still give the edge to FSU. ASU and SCar are good schools though. I'd go to UA before i'd go to ASU. ASU is just insane. I looked at the '11 facebook group...Some of the craziest stuff i've ever seen. Too intense for me.
