U of T vs McGill Chem Eng PhD

hey guys!

I am a masters student in chemical eng, studying in the US. Recently I am looking for my PhD oppurtunities in McGill and U of T… However here is my question
McGill Vs U of T. Which has more reputation? I do know that we cant really compare any universities, but atleast notability wise, which one do you guys think is the best.

From a US employer’s viewpoint, Toronto. Overall, generic man on the street may know the McGill name from historic reputation, but in today’s world it’s Toronto. But, if you’re already in the US, why wouldn’t stay and have many, many more choices at the same price point but higher ranking (Texas, Wisconsin, Delaware).
