Hi everyone! I have just been admitted to the University of Toronto’s trinity college for life sciences and McGill University for the same subject.
I plan to go to grad school in the U.S after (probably a PhD in biochemistry). I was wondering which school choice would be best if I plan to go to a pretty good grad school after undergrad in Canada. Pretty much I would like to know if U of T has name recognition in the U.S like McGill does, and which school has the least grade deflation.
Lastly, I would really love to go to a school with a social atmosphere so I can have a nice balance between school work and some social life. I’ve heard from other forums that U of T in general is pretty antisocial and everyone’s depressed, and trinity college is filled with snobs. Is this true?
Thanks!
