<p>Have anybody heard about U Penn Biomedical Research Summer Program for High School Students?
Anybody attended? Was it good? Easy? Difficult? Anybody can get in?</p>
<p>I was interested in it before, and looked at their official web site, but it cost like $6000 to attend.</p>
<p>yea, it is expensive. but all other summer programs are expensive, too.
Nobody seems to have information for the program.</p>
<p>its 4 weeks of relaxation; don't expect to learn much. They accept only around 80 students and by april/may it is usually full.</p>
<p>i did it it was good you do everything labs, research, lecture, etc. if you are considering ANY bio related field it is good because at the last week everyday you get a lecture from some penn grad school (vet, phd, med,dental) telling you what you need to do to get in and you write papers and its the hardest out of all of the penn summer programs. i dont think it would help you applicantion except for a way to show off your wealth since it is a bit pricey. also you have alot of freedom.</p>
