<p>In the "why do you want to come to U Penn...." Essay are you going to right out University of Pennsylvania every time you refer to the college or are you just going to use "U Penn."</p>
<p>Such simple, yet so complicated question...
I suggest you interchange them throughout the essay. For example in first time you mention it in a paragraph use University of Pennsylvania, afterwards use U Penn untill the next paragraph.</p>
<p>i would actually stick away from U Penn, Univ of Pennsylvania several times has been asked about this, and always responds back that is prefers to be called Penn, not UPenn</p>

<p>This is actually interesting as the name "had" always been Penn but with the advent of email and Google search ......UPenn has come into reality. The email address for students in SAS is ....sas.upenn.edu so how can they expect to avoid this???</p>
