is it true they only look at first semester senior year grades? i hear so many people saying this but its kinda hard to believe

no. they dont only look at first semester senior year grades. those are the most important. but they look at 10th and 11th as well.

Both my sisters went to Mcgill and they LOVED it! I visited montreal while they were there and the city is amazing!

I've always known about McGill because I live in Markham, Ontario so I'm pretty much familiar with all Canadian universities. McGill stood out for me because of the buildings. They're so beautiful and historical. And it's one of the few schools in Canada that offers an International Development program. And it wouldn't hurt to live in New Res :D

Tasnia, I loved that international development program too!...anyway, McGill isn't quite my top choice, but don't think I could say no if they gave me a scholarship...fingers crossed

Hi everyone! I'm a high school senior in Southern California. Using collegeboard's college match-maker thing, I put in a really random combination of 3 biology-related majors and said that I want a school that offers all three. McGill was one of the results (along with an obscure technology institute in Texas). The more i learned about McGill, the more i fell in love with it. I've already sent my admissions app and now i'm working on my scholarship app. I REALLY hope I get in!!!!
And best of luck to you guys as well. ^_^

hehe, I'm in the same boat as you guys, I absolutely love this school and Quebec.

I'm from Texas. I'm going to say this now, my heart will absolutely break if I'm not accepted! I also see there are fellow wanna-be IDS majors here! :D

From Albany, NY. I've known I wanted to go to McGill since 7th grade. It is no doubt my #1 choice. I can't wait to find out but am so nervous - I really don't know if I'll get in or not. I plan on majoring in Art History (Applied to Arts and Arts & Sci).

I'm Amy, from southern PA (York). I want to go to McGill sooo bad, I have relatives in Montreal and it's so amazing up there!
