I took US History honors last year at school, but I hardly remeber any specific details that I notices are constantly tested on the test. has anyone done a decent job on this test (700+) using a prep book as their only prep? If so which book was it, and how helpful was it. Thanks guys!

I did just prep book. I dont have score yet but definately 750 +

Many might disagree, but I consider SAT II USH a fairly moderate/difficult test. If you are only in the honors course, and are not concrete with some details, I would advise you to wait, eventhough many of my friends would think other wise. Many self-studied using the Sparks notes, and I heard it was pretty helpful. Same with PR and Kaplan, also.

Yea, I took US History honors because it's the highest level they offered in that course and the stuff you have to know for the test is wayyyyy more in-depth than you think. But luckily, I used to Sparknotes to prep and it helped A LOT!

Just read Amscow or Brinkley and then you should be fine.

you can try reading through the review and looking at the details you missed. but a lot of those things in an AP class, you might miss. try taking a practise test and see how you do. it's a decent projection of what you'll get on the actual thing
