I am contemplating between the two. I just bought the Kaplan book for US history however I havent taken it since sophomore year. I just finished a Western Civ course at a college this summer. Which one looks better or is easier? I think im going to go with World history.

This is going to be my line up

Biology E
Literature or Italian (unsure)
World History

I may not do three yet though not sure. IDK why everyone says HYP requires three. I went on Harvards site they only need two?

Most schools only require two. What do you want to study? If you’re undecided, then don’t worry about which ones will look better…just take the ones in subjects that you are the best in/most confident.

It depends on which subject you find easier. For example I found US History much easier and it shows in my scores: 570 on the world with a 3 on the AP exam (both AWFUL) but a 720 on the US with a 5 on APUSH. It really depends on which is your stronger subject/which one will be easiest for you to prepare for. Good luck!:)

The two histories are comparable in difficulty, so go with what you’re better at. For me, it was World, though I took both.

What years does World start at? It doesn’t start back to ancient Greece does it? I only know from the 1500s and up. Do you guys think I should do 2 or three subject test. I am only taking them once too, is this a disadvantage?

^World starts at 8000 B.C.E.
