U.S. History vs. World History

I need to self-study for one of the history subject tests. I've heard that world history is a little easier, but I've already had two semesters of US History (one 2 years ago and one last fall). I guess I need to know the difference in difficulty between the two and which books I should use to study from this summer.

Easy Answer-Take practice tests to see where you're at. If you are significantly better at USH, then go ahead with that. If you believe that WH is easier and you get similar scores for both tests, take WH.

Kaplan worked well for me for USH, but I also had a very nice AP history class so mabye get another book to supplement.

WH is easier, but if you like USH or prepped a lot for USH you should take USH.

You can use my scores as an reference:

WH - 800 <-- completely self-studied with Kaplan w/o a course
USH - 750 <-- went through APUSH course with no prep whatsoever

Is Kaplan w/ REA enough to get 750+ on USH? I had USH class about a year ago, and wasn't AP.

Can you recommend me the best books to prepare for SAT II US History ? I'll try to purchase one, but so many are available that I don't know which are truly reliable ! I heard somewhere that the best is RAE ( what does it stand for ? ) ?

Thanks in advance for your inputs. I really appraciate ;)

Yeah, I'm also wondering what the best book to buy is.

...bump...
