U.V.A. or Rice?

I got accepted to both as a transfer (currently at NYU) and I'm torn. I'm interested in economics and business (UVA is touted as one of the best for those) however, I'm not really a frat person. I like drinking and would go to the occasional frat party, but the whole bro lifestyle isn't for me. From what I've heard, the campus is kind of dominated by frat life, so I'm not sure how much I would enjoy that. Also Rice is a smaller school with more intimate classes and is slightly higher ranked than UVA though I feel like they're close enough that it doesn't really matter (plus rankings are kind of BS).

Lots of different kinds of people go to UVA; like any large university, it’s an interlocking collection of smaller communities, not a single homogeneous social group. It’s true there is a frat scene, but many, many students have little to do with it. It’s really up to you.

UVA is excellent for business, and I believe ~30% of students are involved in Greek life. From what I got from visiting and other students, it really didn’t seem too dominating.

Select UVA - Prestigious - competitive - excellent environment - well connected

If it matters, Rice, which is an absolutely phenomenal school (my DS is a Rice grad) does not have an undergrad business major.
