U.Va vs. William and Mary

lol

UVA HANDS DOWN!!!!!

sooo many people in my high school (an elistist high school in NOVA) GOT REJECTED BY UVA while getting in W&M EASILY, sooo many people, like 20 something

what does it say: UVA has a BETTER student body. and stop talking about preppiness!

:(

That hurts me Thom. If we are talking about the same high school.

Heh.

Blickensderfer,

Read my post. I didn't accuse you of anything.

Hey how you doin lil mama? Lemme whisper in your ear
Tell you sumthing that you might like to hear
...
...

Like UVA, UVA, UVA
UVA, UVA, UVA
UVA, UVA, UVA
UVA, UVA, UVA
UVA, UVA, UVA, UVA

well, i dont go to TJ btw.

so it's not TJ

i'm sorry that i hurt u

why?

Just kidding, it didnt really hurt!

I just did to go TJ and did get into WM and not UVA like you described. I'm fixing the situation by transferring next year however!!

OUCh, i thought TJ is sending TONS of kids to UVA this year

BTW, i heard b/c of this year's messed up and competitive admission, lots of TJ kids who plan to go to IVIES ended up going to state/non-ivy schools, true?

Oh, we are. And I am actually TJ Class of '04 so I am finishing up at W&M this year and will be attending UVA starting this fall.

As for the competitive admissions, I don't know about this year, but it was certainly true last year. In past years a 3.5 from TJ was good enough to get you into UVA or WM comfortably. My year anyone below a 3.7 didn't make UVA, basically.

UVA has more prestige and a better social scene.

William and Mary is becoming strict on Greek life, both are great tho.
