Our local UA recruiter shared with me a recently released informational video on the College of Engineering at the University of Alabama.

The video was produced for use at a conference for the American Society of Engineering Education. It highlights a unique and collaborative approach to engineering education by combining engineering with arts and music. Enjoy!

Music? I didn’t get that collaboration at all from watching this.
Art? The foundry is in the eng’g facility because UA has a metallurgical eng’g program (one of very few in the country). Naturally the art students can use it for sculpture, rather than the other way around.
I was not aware that ALL students can use the 3-D printing facility. Good to know.
Thanks for sharing - a good recruiting film.

Hmmm, the part about Music must have been left on the editing room floor. Does music in the background of the video count? :-)

If I were making the film, I would have thrown in the stat about how many eng’g/STEM students are in MDB. Eng’g and marching seem to go hand in hand at most schools. I’m sure UA is no different.
