UA Campus

How have the recent weather issues affected the UA campus? Is it destroyed in places? Can anyone provide specific feedback to how the campus looks?

The campus wasn’t touched by the tornado. A few tree branches fell down on the quad due to the high winds from the morning storm but it wasn’t anything major. UA is as beautiful as it’s always been.

Ah thank god! I’m a transfer going there in the fall, and I was really worried about conditions. Thanks!!

True…

The campus was untouched by the Tornadoes. I think a few tree branches were broken, but those were quickly removed.

The campus is beautiful.

I arrived in T-town the day after the Tornadoes and stayed for a week. I’ve been back to T-town twice since then…and will be there on Wednesday.

There is a video that was made after the Tornado to show that the campus was untouched.

Tuscaloosa is a large city…twice the size of Manhattan. Most of the city of T-town was not damaged by the Tornado. Most of the restaurants, shops, hotels are fine as well.

If you’ve been to Ground Zero in NYC, then you can liken the damage to that …meaning that the damage was not to most of Manhattan…the damage was to a particular area…while the rest of Manhattan was not damaged.
