I know this is an odd question, but someone giving a gift to my son wanted to engrave w/ his email address, and I paused them at this, so weigh in, please.
Does anyone know if you get to keep your UA crimson email address for life…or what happens when you drop out/transfer/graduate?
Thanks!

When you graduate, you still keep your email address. Don’t know about other situations. My older son still has complete access to MyBama and his email.

Considering that’s how you order transcripts and such, it makes sense that you keep myBama and email access.

Must be a new thing, perpetual access. Daughter graduated in 2005 and only had hers about another year. But I noticed the other day that a younger friend who got her master’s last year is still using hers.

Part of the benefit of UA switching to Google Apps for Higher Education is that student email addresses will be valid after graduation.
