UA events during Fall Break?

Does anyone know if there is anything, games, events, dining, etc., that will be happening on campus during the fall break? I am sure that my child will not be the only one on that huge campus by herself (even though she will be alone in her dorm room).

The campus goes pretty quiet but your student can take advantage of this. It is a great time to catch up on sleep, get ahead on projects, do homework, study, catch up on laundry, clean one’s room, go food shopping or take a walk and explore the parts of campus they haven’t seen. Whew, that should keep your student busy :)

My DS and his roommates all want to stay on campus during fall break. He said most of his friends are doing the same.

Looks like Lakeside Dining will be open. Check out the other halls…

What dorm is she in?

I don’t think many events are scheduled during Fall Break because it is a “break”, but you can check RollTide.com calendar to see if there are any sporting events. And, you can check the Theater schedule.

D stayed in her dorm, RCS, last year and she loved it. There were plenty of people around and lots of food places open so she never felt bored or went hungry. She plans on staying in her apartment again…I think that more will be staying given that it is so late this year.

No worries if you want them to stay, or if they want to stay. There is plenty to do and plenty of people around. They can do as little or as much as they want.

Not on campus, but at Moundville, there will be an astronomy public viewing that looks so cool. I’m kind of hoping son will stay on campus so I can take the train up and we can go to this together.
