UA for chemistry?

I’m looking at studying chemistry and going on to a high ranking grad school. The NMF merit aid from UA is very enticing, but is it a good tradeoff for the quality of the program? And how would UA compare to other programs like Illinois, wisconsin, etc…

Where did you decide to go?

Bama is currently building a lot of new buildings that are for science and engineering so the facilities will be great

UA has a lot of opportunities to do undergraduate research. And not just working in a chemistry lab scrubbing vials, but actual research assisting and working with professors and ph.d students. That opportunity will definitely look great on your resume.

Should say, UA Science and Engineering Complex takes National Award!
