<p>UA has suspended classes today starting at 12:15 PM. The following notice has been issued</p>
<p>"The storm is moving slower than predicted and is now expected to arrive in the Tuscaloosa area around 1 p.m. As a result, all classes and activities will be suspended at 12:15 p.m. To avoid traffic congestion, non-essential personnel may leave beginning at 11 a.m.</p>
<p>Students, faculty and staff should check weather conditions along the roadways they travel and should travel to and from campus only when they can do so safely. Gusty winds can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Caution is advised.
Crimson Ride buses will suspend operations at 1:15 p.m. or earlier if conditions prohibit operation. </p>
<p>Classes will resume once the weather has cleared the area. You will be notified via UA Alerts that the all-clear has been given and the time that classes and activities will resume.</p>
