This is a feel good story about a UA Engineering student from Pelham, Alabama, who has been listed in Aviation Week’s list of 2019’s top 20 Engineering, Math, Science and Tech students. He has been volunteering at Central High School to help lower income kids learn about coding. However, his community service was just one factor, in addition to his academic performance, that led to him winning this award. He will complete his BS and Masters in Engineering, both at UA, in 2020.
