<p>D has received the good news that she is finalist, has sent her NM attendance choice card to UA. She has been accepted and deposits have been paid.
Now…does anyone know when UA will send an official notification of scholarship package?</p>
<p>I don’t know when they are typically sent out.</p>
<p>My son received his at his school and it was presented to him at graduation. So, I don’t know if that’s normal or not.</p>
<p>Wait…now that I’m thinking about it. He must have also rec’d something at home before that because he had to accept it sometime in the spring. I guess the graduation presentation was just an extra thing.</p>
<p>You should get official notification of the scholarship package before graduation. If your school has a senior awards assembly/banquet that announces scholarships and you have a UA representative that will be in the area, your D may have a special guest at the event, otherwise UA will just mail the certificate to the school.</p>
<p>Being one of the top 10 destinations for public U’s is a big deal when you consider that they are competing with schools like UMich, UVa, UCLA, UIUC, UBerkeley, & UNC-CH who naturally get grab many of their in-state NMFs.</p>
