UA to get B.S. Architectural Engineering

This is from a recent Crimson White Article.

“The UA campus will be able to begin the process of creating a Bachelor of Science degree in both architectural engineering and environmental engineering as well as a resolution to create a Post-Master’s Certificate program in women’s studies after the board’s approval Friday.”

[The Crimson White | UA Board of Trustees approves campus expansion, new programs, tuition increase](http://cw.ua.edu/2013/06/14/ua-board-of-trustees-approves-campus-expansion-new-programs-tuition-increase/)

Wow!!

I wonder if this is because there is sooooo much building/construction/design activity going on in Tuscaloosa County that there would be a LOT of hands-on opportunities.

Plus, after the tornado, UA Engineering got very involved with designing structures that can better withstand tornadoes.

Too many architecture grads of that other state school with fingers on UA buildings (including my own son!).

^^^

lol…can’t have that! ;)
