UA vs. Hilgard

I'm a new transfer student to UCLA, and I'm not really social and personally in favor of privacy. I consider UA, Hilgard or private apt. Looking for some advises especially on UA and Hilgard. BTW, My budget for living is around $10,000 including dinning and transportation. Any advises? Thanks!

BTW, are Hedrick Summit, Hitch Suites, or Rieber Vista on-campus place? how are they as well?

^^
yes, those are on campus. HS and RV are nice. Hitch (and Saxon) are ghetto. :D

if your budget is 10k, don't go for rieber vista, terrace, or hedrick summit. those go up to 12k. haha. or at least.. i pay 12k this year.

I can't speak for the pricing, but if you're a private person, DON'T do Hilgard. It's literally living in a big house w/ ~40 people, sometimes up to 6(?) per room. UA will usually be 2-4 people per apartment.

i c. thanks, allie.
Well, I'm not that private! but you're right, I can't live with more people than 1. maybe I just find some private apt with someone to share. any advises on private apt??:)
