It looks like UAB hasn’t adjusted it’s merit scholarship amounts for many years now. My son was admitted there and at several other schools and will receive the highest OOS merit awards. UAB is substantially higher than any other school - and quite a lot more than the flagship. We haven’t gotten any official scholarship awards yet, so we don’t know if he’ll get more than just the standard automatic scholarships. He got Presidential at Alabama - it’s hard to imagine that UAB would cost 25% more than the flagship. Any idea why this would be so?
