I visited Auburn and I loved the campus, however I'm not sure if it's a great pre-med. I also visited UAB and I didn't really like the campus, but they seem to have a lot of great opportunities. Which school is better for premed? And does UAB have good student life?

Pre-med is just a set of courses. Goto Auburn.

I know that I would love living at Auburn but UAB has way more internship opportunities and is slightly cheaper with scholarships

very different schools as you know. a person can go anywhere for premed, as stated above you just need to have the pre req courses. uab does have many hospitals surrounding the campus, and a lot of research opportunities. student life will be different as it is not a big football school… only about 6% greek. but there is a lot to do, just get involved in the different opportunities it offers . My S2 is at uab and always finds something to do. (dont think you can pm me as you dont have the needed 15 posts…but if you get to 15, feel free to pm with any questions you might have about uab.)

I have a lot of friends at Auburn doing pre-med and they’re very happy with it. I’m sure you can work with your advisor on how to get an internship (they have a lot of job fairs etc.). Auburn is a great school and if you already love it there, why pass it up?

If you decide that you no longer want to do pre-med, which campus would you prefer?
