Who else is as annoyed that sat tests on November 5th have been postponed to 19th??? in I mean this is crap! Y do we have to suffer ?>???? No i dont even know if my application will be considered!

Same, I’m in Pakistan. Some of my colleges have a deadline around the end of November, so I probably won’t know my SAT2 scores before submitting most of my applications.

Seriously, the November date needs to go back to the 5th.

I know! I mean its a mega inconvenience! Not only about viewing scores but even if u rush report them, there’s a huge possibility that the deadline for colleges may have already passed to receive all scores and materials.

I’m a muslim living in Alain in the UAE and ;
what’s our fault (( muslims in the UAE )) ??
We have Eid in Nov 5th , do you think we should test in Eid !!

I’m assuming you are Christian , will you feel convenient about taking the SAT in Christmas ??

I mean really think reasonably man , and after all the UAE is a muslim country.

What the college board should’ve done is that they should’ve allowed the Christians to take it in Nov 5th and the Muslims to take it Nov 17th . But imagine how difficult this would be for collegeboard.

@freedom Eagle, I do respect ur sentiments but COME ON!!! do u even realise how much of a delay its gonna cause those applying ED??? Besides it’s just one morning that ur gonna spend writing the exam!!! How can u cause others an inconvenience for it?

I understand what you mean and I agree with you that it shouldn’t have been in 17th , Eid ends in 9th . But remember that in this Eid we have " al haj " (( Peligramage )) , and maybe some students are going to alhaj and they’ll come back in about Nov 9th , but they do need time to rest because it is a very exhausting experience. I imagine this is the reason why College Board made it in 19th.

I’m terriably sorry you’re gonna mess the ED apps but these are the current circumanstances.

But contact the college board and explain your situation for them , maybe they will do something about it.

You guys are idiots. Sorry to say this to fellow Pakistanis and Muslims. But if you guys bothered reading the mail you would realize how stupid you are. To quote Collegeboard:

“Because the November SAT administration falls during a time of religious observance, we have rescheduled the test to take place on November 19, 2011 in your country. Scores from November 19, available in early December, will be reported as regular November scores, and the university and scholarship application process will not be affected.”

Thus it makes no difference to us so please stop complaining.

I did " bother " reading the Email once it came and iam 100% sure that it didn’t say anything about the scores sending time. They must have changed it after that.

Why don’t you just admit you didn’t read it? They wouldn’t change it after sending it to you and if they did they would send an updated version to everyone so why don’t you try reading it again.

^^ and why would i lie ?? Give me one reason to lie to you . I never met you and I don’t care what you think of me , and Iam telling the truth. Whether to believe or not is up to you.

I’m not accusing you of lying. I’m just saying you didn’t read it carefully.

I ,for instance, found it an advantage, since i am having more time to prepare!!

Same here. More time to prep ftw.

Bad thing is that we will probably get our scores after the December exam, for those looking to retake it in case they don’t do well.
