Uae?

3 questions, yup.
-I'm Indian but have lived in Dubai practically all my life - I'm wondering if I'll count as an indian applicant or one from the uae? Come to that, would the uae bit be a boost, or is it over represented? Schools I'm looking at are along the lines of columbia/harvard/swarthmore/oberlin.

-Also I'm wondering how much colleges would know about schools here? I'm in DC which is a pretty good school (I think?) but most people go to the UK, with only a handful going to the US each year (ivies/superschools though if that's good/bad).

-Would being able to speak arabic be a plus (I can't)? I've been told this by a few people, not sure how true it is.

anyone...?

u'll still be considered an indian by adcoms

ur nationality on passport = nationality u are accepted as
im also in uae - lived here "practically all my life"...i dont think it matters what u apply as - we fall under intl students anyway.
Being able to speak arabic is not a plus..unless there was a SAT II subject test for it and u could show them outstanding grades. with regard to your second query --- WHAT?!?

It depends on if weather you have permanent residence in the uae or not, if not then it's the nationality on your passport.
