Hi everyone. I need some serious advice from others like myself. Long story short I applied for SOM as a transfer and was denied only to hear from Binghamton yesterday that they would like me to accept a seat in Harpur. I talked at length today with undergrad admission and they discussed how the classes I've taken as well as my background would suit a Philosophy, Politics and Law degree. We discussed my wish to have a business background for post grad and they suggested I talk to the head of the SOM about enrolling in their adjunct program. In addition it was suggested I could apply for the fast track MBA program. I am going to school with the full intention of making myself as marketable as possible to future employers. That said, here is what I feel I'm looking at:

SUNY Albany Pros
-Already accepted to business school.
-Will graduate with a degree in management/IT without needing to expend any effort to maintain GPA so long as I stay above a 2.0 (which is ridiculous, honestly).
-Know the area well, everything is located fairly nearby, apartment lease affordable.

SUNY Albany Cons
-After "st paddys day riots" there is a negative stigma associated with the school.
-(Personally I believe) degree is inferior to one from Binghamton.
-I very much don't like the school architecture. It is very dull.
-The people aren't the best I've met.
-Not a huge fan of many professors here.

SUNY Binghamton Pros
-Accepted to Harpur with a possible major I would fit into quite well
-Better overall perception of school and nicer area
-Probability of applying/being accepted to the fast track MBA as well as having the adjunct in business.

SUNY Binghamton Cons
-Unsure of PPL degree being superior to a degree in Mgmt/IT from Albany.
-More intense coursework, no room for screwing around (which to be honest is true of any school)

In addition, I would like to know...Which degree is better for a job?

Management/IT with a minor in psychology from SUNY Albany.

PPL with an adjunct in Management (and possible fast track MBA).

On paper it would seem that Binghamton is the easy choice (although I am not exactly sure how the degrees match up while excluding fast track MBA).

So yeah. I'm looking for any advice concerning my current predicament. I appreciate all open, honest and constructive answers. Thank you all very much.
