so i really like albany's campus and it's business school is great, but i was wondering if it is difficult to get into the business school?(not as a freshman though b/c i didnt apply)
and also are the people there stuck up? or real party people because that's what's holding me back from deciding to go to ualbany just because of what a i hear about the constant partying

You seem like a good kid so I will tell it to you straight. I go to SUNY Albany and I am going into my 3rd year. I am a business major and I just got into the business school. You need a 3.25 overall GPA and a 3.00 GPA in core business classes. It is not that hard to get that GPA, you just have to work hard and not slack off. The albany party scene is big but you definitely avoid it if you want. Even though it probably is a party school that does not mean you have to do it.

Albany’s business school is very competitive. You can certainly get accepted but only if you have your house in order. The new business school building will only make acceptance more difficult. I’ve seen acceptance rates rates drop 15 points in just the last few years. Simple supply and demand.
