@JoshEss Congrats on being accepted! There’s a FB page for the class of 2020, its a closed group, but you should join to see what other students are saying about UB! Congrats again!
@Tekoneko true, CN courses aren’t well respected outside of CUNY schools. I’m not even sure how Microsoft applications could apply to physical therapy.
@bklnylee can you possibly add me to the Facebook.
@JoshEss I tried to share the link but it wouldn’t open. And I cant add you, because only the people who created the group can add others. But just look up, University at Buffalo Class of 2020, on fb, and send a request. They will add you very soon, it only took a day to add me. The group has over 2,000 members!
@JoshEss They might not accept it, but what they can do is accept it as an elective. Nothing more than that I guess?
Im kinda wondering… If you dorm, can you choose your own roommates or will it be randomized?
Just got the mail.i have been waitlisted and offerred a seat for spring semester. ahhh atleast got the decision bt my question is,will it be worth to wait for spring or should i get into a CUNY college?
It depends if UB is your top choice or not. If I was in your situation, I would go to a CUNY City College of New York and transfer over to UB for the Spring Semester.
Thanks.i was thinking about that too.bt i am confused. If i enter cuny this fall, take some credits and transfer to ub in spring, then what will be the difference from those who enterred spring without taking any course in fall? Does this mean i have to pay cuny for fall semester and pay ub again for same course?does it mean i will be done with 1 semester and transfer to ub for 2nd semester.?

@Tekoneko I think that strongly depends on availability.
If you’re worried about transferring the credits that you earn during the Fall Semester to UB’s Spring Semester, you can talk to the counselor and see which credits can be transferred over to UB. That way, you won’t waste time or lose any credits after you transfer.
@JoshEss Thanks for bringing up the suggestion to check with Admissions to make sure her application was 100% complete. She assumed it was when she instructed her high school to send in transcript and SAT scores. That was back in October and we didn’t hear anything. After a couple phone calls 2 days ago, the HS apparently made a mistake and the SATs scores never made it to UB. I had them fax it and she just found out she was accepted into Spring…wait list for Fall. It only took 2 days after they received the fax to let her know. She may have gotten in for Fall if the HS didn’t screw up…ohh well
We are thrilled that she got in even though she will most likely have to wait till Spring.
This gives her a chance to get some Gen Ed classes in at either BuffState or ECC …but she will need to make sure they will transfer over.
Thanks again!
@eab2k16 That’s awesome! Congratulations to her!
Ahh I got an email saying that I got into the Spring semester and waitlisted for Fall semester.
@Tekoneko same as my friend, but she’s going to old westbury.
I was hoping I would get a blatant acceptance letter but all I received today was a letter telling me how to active myUB account and how to access the student hub. Even then, there is nothing I can even access there such as searching for classes because “I’m not authorized” to do so. I’m going to call UB to see what’s up. I’m losing my patience and just about to put down my deposit for UAlbany or New Paltz instead.
I thought UB only accepted SAT scores directly from Collegeboard and not the high schools?
Kinda true
Hey did anyone get off the wait list yet? Just wondering…
